Can I create custom permission roles beyond the defaults?+

Yes. Beyond the built-in Owner, Manager, Kitchen, and Driver roles, you can create custom roles with specific permission combinations โ€” for example, a Delivery Coordinator who can manage drivers but not edit the menu.

How do I revoke access when a staff member leaves?+

Deactivate their account in staff settings. Their session is invalidated immediately across all devices. They cannot log back in, and their historical actions remain in the audit log for accountability.

Can kitchen staff see customer contact details?+

No. The Kitchen role by default can see order details and items but not customer phone numbers or addresses. These are only visible to Manager and Owner roles unless you customise the permissions.

Can I see a log of all refunds issued by staff?+

Yes. The audit log filters by action type. Filter for "refund" to see every refund issued โ€” who approved it, when, the order ID, and the amount. Useful for identifying patterns of misuse.

Does staff management work for multi-location businesses?+

Yes. Each staff member is assigned to one or more locations. A manager at Location A cannot access Location B data unless explicitly granted cross-location permissions.
